‘It Rains Slowly’ to vie in San Francisco

Iranian short film, ‘It Rains Slowly,’ is slated to be screened at the 13th edition of the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival from July 17 to 21.

Directed by Saeed Nejati, the 15-minute short is the first joint product of the Qom Youth Cinema Society and the İzmir Metropolitan Municipality from Turkey. It was made in Turkey.

The film narrates the story of school students who are trying to find a way to help their teacher.

The film was first screened at İzmir City Hall and was well-received by spectators. It was selected as the best short film.

Founded in 2006, the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival is dedicated to creating avenues for independent filmmakers, youths, filmmakers of conscience, and artists from underserved communities to come together and exhibit their work to the widest possible audience.
