Iranian short films to vie at Edmonton Int’l Film Festival

Four Iranian films will attend the 33rd Edmonton International Film Festival which is due to be held September 26 to October 5.

‘Driving Lessons’ by Marzieh Riahi, ‘Greyish’ by Eqbal Shirzaei-Sani, ‘MagRalen’ by Maryam Zarei and ‘Beloved’ by Yaser Talebi will represent Iran in the event, ISNA wrote.

‘Beloved’ by Talebi is the doc among the lineup while ‘MagRalen’ is a joint production of Iran and Canada.

Edmonton International Film Festival is one of the most credible film festivals in Canada, approved by the Academy Awards, known as the Oscars. The best short film and animation of the festival will be introduced to the Academy Awards.
