Over 300 domestic and foreign firms have participated in the 11th Doors and Windows Technology International Exhibition (Do-WinTech 2019), which opened its doors to visitors in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Tuesday.
The four-day expo will come to an end on July 12, IRNA reported.
The opening ceremony was attended by Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Reza Rahmani. The fair is being held at Tehran International Permanent Fairgrounds.
Foreign companies taking part in the exhibition are from Italy, Turkey, China and Germany.
New technology-based companies as well as startups are also participating in the present edition of the expo. In addition, a number of workshops on issues related to the industry of manufacturing doors and windows will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition.
At least six foreign delegations from Oman, Qatar, Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will visit this year’s expo to hold negotiations with the representatives of the companies attending the exhibition.
Among the goals of the expo are presenting the industry’s potentials and capacities, preparing the ground for attracting investments, displaying the latest innovations and advances in the field of producing doors and windows, establishing a direct relationship between consumers and producers, boosting employment and finding new export markets.
