According to IMIDRO’s website, the companies were Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex, Mehdiabad Lead and Zinc and Barite Mining Complex and Nakhlak Mineral Complex.
In the said period, Mehdiabad Lead and Zinc and Barite Mining Complex mined 306,828 tons of the minerals, indicating a 267-percent rise compared to the figure for the same period last year, which stood at 83,714 tons.
The figure shows that the complex was 119 percent ahead of its production target set for the seven-month period to October 22, 2019, which was 140,000 tons.
Nakhlak Mineral Complex produced 4,355 tons of lead concentrate during the same period in 2019. In the same duration last year, the company produced 4,099 tons of the product, 6.2 percent less than its 2019 output.
Moreover, extraction of minerals by Nakhlak Mineral Complex during March 21-October 22, 2019 amounted to 41,117 tons, showing a 12-percent rise year-on-year. Last year’s figure was 36,673 tons.
The complex also sent 4,199 tons of products to domestic firms in the same time span in 2019, up 9.4 percent year on year. The figure amounted to 3,837 tons in the corresponding period in 2018.
During March-October 2019, Angouran Lead and Zinc Complex extracted 544,115 tons of minerals. The figure is 47 percent higher than the company’s production target (370,000 tons) for the same period.
In addition, the complex sent 320,989 tons of minerals to domestic processing companies in the said time span.
