A total of 220 domestic and foreign companies have taken part in the 10th International Exhibition of Architecture, Interior Design and Modern House (MIDEX) which opened in Tehran’s Permanent International Fairgrounds on Tuesday.
At the exhibition the firms have put on display their latest products, equipment and services, IRNA reported.
The eight foreign firms taking part in MIDEX 2020 are from Germany, South Korea, Italy, Belgium, France and China.
The expo features products in several categories, including prefabricated buildings, lighting, building automation, modern technologies of installation, furniture, open space and interior design equipment, curtains, wallpaper, decorative coverings, ornamental instruments, sport and entertainment furniture and electronic devices – such as those used in smart, remote-control and building security systems.
The exhibition is aimed at presenting domestic capabilities and potentials in the fields of architecture, decoration and interior design to the world, providing Iranian companies with a chance to gain greater knowledge about the latest capabilities and modern technologies – particularly in the fields of nanotechnology and biotechnology, creating new trade opportunities, boosting employment, connecting academics and manufacturers and identifying the potentials of the country’s export services in the areas of decoration and interior design.
The fair will be open to visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (local time) until January 17.
