Iran's Book House pavilion active at FBF

The pavilion of Iran's Book House at the 66th Frankfurt International Book Fair opened October 9 by hosting meetings between Iranian and foreign publishers from the onset.

According to IBNA, Iran's Book House stand is located in Hall No. 4.2 which is the most significant center of information and digital data at the event. This denotes the extent to which digital information and development of databases are essential.

On the other hand, it is a success for Iran's Book House which could persuade the officials to participate in the specialized department of FBF.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is the world's largest trade fair for books, based on the number of publishing companies represented, as well as the number of visitors.

The first three days are restricted exclusively to trade visitors; the general public can only attend on the last two days.

The fair is organized by a subsidiary company of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association. For five days, the event hosts more than 7,000 exhibitors from over 100 countries and more than 286,000 visitors.

The Frankfurt Book Fair is considered to be the most important book fair in the world for international deals and trading.

The 2014 FBF will run until October 12.
