'Snow', directed by Mehdi Rahmani, and 'Memories for All Seasons' by Mostafa Razaq Karimi will compete at the event from January 7-11.
'Snow' narrates the story of a family affluent in the past but destitute now, and have a hard time to conceal their present situation on the very day a suitor is coming from abroad to propose to their only daughter.
'Memories for All Seasons' retells the memories of an Iranian film director from a period when chemical bomb victims had been transferred from Iran to Vienna for treatment, Mehr News Agency said.
The film depicts the conditions of these chemical patients, their Austrian doctors and the role of Western media in an innovative and dramatic way.
Both films are produced by Iran Novin Film Institute.
Iranian actor Ali Mosaffa is among the judges at this year's Prague Film Festival.
