Mauritania’s Ministry of Education is introducing the Persian language into the curriculum of the University of Nouakchott Al Aasriya as of next semester as per an agreement with its Iranian counterpart.
All these attendants have devoted their entire life to the Persian language. Persian language experts including linguists from around Russia have gathered at the fifth Moscow forum of Russian and Iranian teachers of Persian language.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Seyyed Abbas Mousavi highlighted the importance of teaching the Persian language and said that promoting the language as well as Iranian studies are of paramount importance for Iran’s public diplomacy.
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani in a message to the ‘First International Conference of Persian Language and Iranian-Islamic Thought on Farid al-Din attar Neyshaburi: Life, Works and Thought’ which was read by Iran’s Culture Minister Abbas Salehi, said Persian language is part of Iran’s historical entity as well as Muslim world’s culture and civilization.
