Sotheby's has announced its 'Picasso in Private' sales on February 5 that will offer a rare and exciting opportunity to acquire works on paper, ceramics and terracotta sculpture by Pablo Picasso that remained in the artist's studio throughout his lifetime, and which will now be offered from the collection of his granddaughter Marina.
An exhibition of fine artwork by Pablo Picasso and Alexander Calder and an excellent lineup of contemporary art by Max Pellegrini and Kaoru Mansour for the 2015-2016 season will open on November 28 at the Heather James Fine Art, Palm Desert in California.
“Give me a museum and I'll fill it,” Pablo Picasso reportedly said. Whether he did say it or not, it sounds like him, a serial overproducer.
