The secretary general of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement says a recent US-organized conference in the Polish capital Warsaw was a vain attempt to suffocate the Palestinian cause and isolate Iran.
The Warsaw conference, organized by the US in the Polish capital on February 13-14, has outraged observers in the Arab world who believe their leaders attended the conference merely as “extras” in a preplanned scenario for normalization of Israeli-Arab ties.
The meeting of the coordination committee for development of South West Route was held in Warsaw with participation of representatives of the railway companies of Iran, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Poland.
With 15.75 million passengers in 2017, Warsaw’s Chopin Airport is the busiest in central and eastern Europe. Last year, it overtook Prague’s Vaclav Havel Airport, which served 15.4 million passengers, according to Airports Council International.
Thousands protested against proposed new judicial reforms in front of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Poland on Friday. The legislation seeks to give the government greater control over courts and Poland’s election commission. Similar protests were held throughout the country, presstv.com reported.
