Iran, Germany discuss research cooperation
Iran, Hamburg's Center for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC) and University of St. Andrews discussed expansion of academic and research collaboration.

In a meeting between Head of Golestan Cultural Complex Masoud Nosrati, the Head of Hamburg's Center Michael Friedrich and representative of University of St. Andrews Ilse Sturkenboom, the three sides highlighted the need to expand ties in educational and research domains, wrote IRNA.

Educational and research collaborations, holding cultural exhibitions and conference as well as publishing historical works were discussed in the meeting, said Nosrati.

An MoU on displaying the manuscripts of Golestan Cultural Complex in Hamburg's center for manuscripts and University of St. Andrews will be issued as soon as the legal steps are completed, he added.

Nosrati stated that CSMC has conducted important research projects worldwide and introduced unique works ranging from eastern Asia to western Africa.

He cited digitalizing the manuscripts of Golestan Cultural Complex and publishing its bilingual list as among the main priorities for collaboration with the two European centers.
