Iranian pop singer Behnam Safavi dies at 36
Iranian pop singer and musician, Behnam Safavi, died at the age of 36 in Isfahan on Monday after a long period of struggling with brain tumor, IRNA reported.

Safavi was born in 1983 in Shiraz. He spent his childhood in Khuzestan’s Mahshahr port and studied there. After graduating from high school and being admitted to the university in the field of engineering, he came to Tehran.

Since childhood, Behnam had a special interest in music and walked into the world of music by learning percussion instruments and piano.

During his university education, he released his first album, ‘Be My Love,’ in 2009. Since then, Safavi attracted many fans with domestic and foreign concerts, and enjoyed great popularity.

Behnam launched his latest album, ‘Miracle,’ in 2015 and performed concerts in various cities of the country.
