Iran’s handicrafts, tourism attractions on display in China expo
The three-day Asian Culture and Tourism Exhibition ended Saturday in Beijing, with representatives from Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (ICHHTO) attending the event.

On the sidelines of the Conference on the Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC), the exhibition, hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism, aimed to help visitors better understand Asian civilizations and promote exchanges and cooperation at the industrial level.

Accommodated in a pavilion of 36 square meters, the ICHHTO representatives put a wide range of Iranian handicrafts on display and introduced the tourism attractions of the country to enthusiasts, Mehr News Agency reported.

Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh, who attended CDAC, visited Iran’s pavilion in the exhibition. He was accompanied by a delegation comprised of senior university professors, officials from the National Museum of Iran, the prominent director Majid Majidi, and a musical band that took part in different parts of the event.
