Stunning 360-degree visualization allows you to explore the darkest depths of Milky Way
While traveling to the deepest, darkest depths of the Milky Way isn’t physically possible, a stunning new visualization can help you to imagine you’re there.

The visualization , which has been developed using data from NASA ’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, allows viewers to explore the monster black hole that lies in the center of our galaxy, mirror.co.uk wrote.

The center of the Milky Way lies about 26,000 light years (150,000 trillion miles) from our planet.

Despite this staggering distance, powerful telescopes can detect light in various forms, including X-ray and infrared light.

The visualization builds on infrared data of 30 massive stars called Wolf-Rayet stars that orbit about 1.5 light years away from the center of our Galaxy.

Powerful winds of gas streaming from the surface of these stars carry some of their outer layers into interstellar space.
