Iran, South Korea discuss nanotech cooperation
A meeting was held between Iranian and South Korean companies involved in the field of nanotechnology to discuss ways to expand cooperation and commercialize new products.

Cooperation between Iran and South Korea is based on a program called ‘Iran-South Korea Club’ which is organized in collaboration with Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), mehrnews.com reported.

KIST is planning to employ the capacities of Iranian companies in the field of nanotechnology to pinpoint strategies to expand presence in technology markets and exchange knowledge between the two sides.

Manager of the SME sector at the KIST deemed their presence among Iranian companies a great opportunity for South Koreans, adding “Our institute has established Kclub to produce technology on a global scale. 50 South Korean companies have so far signed up in the club.

“To become a lead in the world of technology, we decided to introduce our club plans globally, and Iran is one of the countries with a high capability for advanced technology productions,” he added.

Iranian and South Korean technological companies also held a B2B meeting. South Korean companies are also scheduled to visit a number of technological firms and factories in Tehran on Tuesday.
